Condominium in La Bellasara sells for $2,347,900

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Aug. 19 and Aug. 23.

A condominium in La Bellasara tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. David Barger, of New York, sold his Unit 704 condominium at 464 Golden Gate Point to George and Judith Hofmann, of Sarasota, for $2,347,900. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,290 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.69 million in 2006.

SARASOTA
Harbor Acres
David Brittain, of Sarasota, sold his home at 1449 Hillview Drive to Robert and Betty Pelc, of Sarasota, for $1.6 million. Built in 1952, it has four bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath and 3,533 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $735,000 in 1990.

Sarasota Bay Club
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 1010 condominium at 1301 Tamiami Trail to Thomas and Lynn Skonicki, of Sarasota, for $560,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,546 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $540,000 in 2001.

June’s
Andre and Lisa Rainwater sold their home at 655 41st St. to Scot Banner, of Sarasota, for $475,000. Built in 1962, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 1,335 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $335,000 in 2011. The property also has a no-bedroom, one-bath and 368 square feet of living area structure built in 1962.

Schooner Bay
William and Mary Sherry, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 6782 condominium at 6782 Schooner Bay Circle to Dale and Cathy Allen, of Sarasota, for $425,000. Built in 1987, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,738 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $135,900 in 1987.

Vamo
Ronald and Patsy Merriman, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1711 Vamo Drive to Patricia Kuehn, of Sarasota, for $358,000. Built in 1924, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,418 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $250,000 in 1999.

Essex House
C. Ted French and Terry O’Halloran, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 507 condominium at 707 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Paul and Joanne Ritacco, of Chautauqua, N.Y., for $325,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,247 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $124,900 in 1991.

Shadow Lakes
Maurice and Laurianne Biron sold their home at 3319 Savage Road to Donald and Valerie Smith, of Sarasota, for $302,000. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,874 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $155,000 in 2001.

Landings Treehouse
Merle Bigelow, trustee, of Lake, Ill., sold the Unit 72 condominium at 1444 Landings Circle to Jill Williams, of Rochester, Minn., for $280,000. Built in 1983, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,008 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $139,000 in 1992.

Gulf Gate Woods
Katherine Pilgrim, of Apollo Beach, sold her home at 7461 Mariana Drive to Julianna Poznan, of Fairfield, Conn., for $272,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,827 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $135,000 in 1989.

Phillippi Landings
Federal National Mortgage Association sold the Unit 205 condominium at 1921 Monte Carlo Drive to Leon Jaklic, of Sarasota, for $257,900. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,720 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $330,800 in 2012.

Gulf Gate Woods
James Scott, of Sarasota, sold his home at 2520 Cardwell Way to Leslie Gray, of Sarasota, for $257,500. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,698 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $133,000 in 2012.

South Gate
Susann Guglielmini, of Sarasota, sold her home at 2904 Homasassa Road to Equity Trust Co. for $235,000. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,386 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $180,000 in 2012.

Brian Colleran, trustee, of Cuyahoga, Ohio, sold the home at 3910 Solymar Drive to Guido Stein, of Hamburg, Germany, for $1.65 million. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 4,183 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.3 million in 2011.

John Summers and Ruth Bennear, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 112 condominium at 5400 Ocean Blvd. to Lee Valenta, of Edina, Minn., for $820,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,187 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $45,900 in 1970.

Eugene and Denise Bittner, of Sarasota, sold their home at 8201 Midnight Pass Road to Susan Sinclair, of Ontario, Canada, for $650,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, three baths, and 3,364 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.8 million in 2005.

DJS Florida Holdings LLC sold the Unit 43 condominium at 5830 Midnight Pass Road to Kimberly Tower, of Danville, Calif., for $600,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,194 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.15 million in 2005.

Donald and Sheryl Mark, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 502 condominium at 625 Beach Road to Mary Paas, of Ontario, Canada, for $585,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,144 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $430,000 in 2009.

Christopher and Carol Pelletier, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5770 Benevento Drive to Michael and Stephanie Holland, of Sarasota, for $372,500. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,008 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $431,500 in 2007.

Patrick and Marilyn Moran, of Bradenton, sold their home at 6014 Benevento Drive to Marianne Zentz, of Sarasota, for $260,000. Built in 2008, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,693 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $250,000 in 2012.

Michael and Beth Hang, of North Canton, Ohio, sold their home at 5927 Guarino Drive to Elizabeth Steiner, of Sarasota, for $257,500. Built in 2011, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,549 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 2011.

Thomas and Gari Baker, of Sarasota, sold their home at 8904 Whitemarsh Ave. to Kwok Wah Tsui and Celia Lau, of Sarasota, for $371,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,002 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2006.

Albert Damalak, of Sarasota, sold his home at 8792 Pebble Creek Lane to Morton Glickman and Marcella Halpert, of Guilford, Conn., for $335,000. Built in 1997, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,303 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $239,700 in 1997.

Wilma Emich, of Neustadt-Hamback, Germany, sold her Unit 9 condominium at 7180 Rue de Palisades to Robert and Barbara Knickerbocker, of Sarasota, for $328,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,060 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $315,000 in June.

Turtle Rock
William Leyden and Carol Leyden, trustees, of Wellington, sold the home at 8526 Park Shore Lane to Song Bao Thi Pham, of Sarasota, for $315,000. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,377 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $312,000 in 2004.

Villa Palmeras
Michael Podhorecki, trustee, of Geneseo, N.Y., sold the home at 4452 Calle Serena to Richard and Elaine Samartin, of Sarasota, for $315,000. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 2,852 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $304,500 in 1989.

Paul and Kym Quaintrell, of Cumbria, United Kingdom, sold their home at 4931 Flagstone Drive to Samuel and Annette Pagano, of Nokomis, for $280,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,169 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $512,000 in 2005.

Ewa Heffernan, of Aventura, sold her Unit 405 condominium at 1187 Burgos Drive to Mary Pille, of Sarasota, for $265,000. Built in 2011, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,638 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $181,000 in 2011.

Arielle on Palmer Ranch
Michael and Stephanie Holland, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 2004 condominium at 7007 Prosperity Circle to Albert Ferrigno, of Sarasota, for $220,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,554 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $170,000 in 2009.

Mark and Virginia Williams sold their home at 455 N. Shore Drive to Steven Morgan, of Osprey, for $215,000. Built in 1966, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,229 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $168,000 in 2009.

Casey Key A-3 LLC sold the Unit A3 condominium at 14021 Bellagio Way to Simon and Susan Oliver, of Osprey, for $660,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,716 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,958,300 in 2006.

Robert and Joyce Rietveld, trustees, of Bourbonnais, Ill., sold their home at 376 Park Trace Blvd. to Dennis Walsh and Eleonore Freihofer, of Osprey, for $535,000. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 3,083 square feet of living area.

Valerie May, trustee, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1275 Thornapple Drive to Jeffrey and Donna Stewart, of Northville, Mich., for $370,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,261 square feet of living area.
