Bashaw Elementary School kicked off its school-wide theme of “Celebrating Diversity: Customs and Cultures of the Far East” with an assembly Aug. 30. The assembly included a trivia game featuring Coach Karen Smith, fourth-grade teacher Todd Blackmore and Bob the Bobcat as contestants. Students and staff enjoyed the fun of the Far East-inspired game, as well as the teachers’ costumes.
