Home on Casey Key sells for $2.3 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Sept. 2 and Sept. 6.

A home on Casey Key top all transactions in this week’s real estate. George and Susan Nielsen, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1504 Casey Key Road to Donald Wilborn and David Wilborn, of Nokomis, for $2.3 million. Built in 1999, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,623 square feet of living area.

SARASOTA
The Tower Residences
Sheri Trine, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 1002 condominium at 35 Watergate Drive to Robert and Linda Easterle, of Sarasota, for $1,975,000. Built in 2003, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 3,751 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.04 million in 2003.

Bay Plaza
Joseph and Cheryl Abraham, trustees, sold the Unit 1503 condominium at 1255 N. Gulfstream Ave. to William and Christine Chocallo, of Sarasota, for $1,125,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,310 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $800,000 in March.

Bungalow Hill
Allan and Margaret Foodman, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1118 Citrus Ave. to Michael D’Agostino, of Sarasota, for $1,087,800. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath and 3,182 square feet of living area.

Theodore and Harriet Oxman, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 64 condominium at 340 S. Palm Ave. to Donald and H. Anne Kelly, of Alexandria, Va., for $860,000. Built in 1998, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,774 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $800,000 in 2010.

James and Kathleen Lyons, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5423 America Drive to Curran and Pamella Smith, of Sarasota, for $820,000. Built in 1973, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,526 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $17,400 in 1975.

Kenneth Barr and Edith Barr-Dunn, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 1502 condominium at 1350 Main St. to Walter and Barbara Carey, of Fairfield, Conn., for $675,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,336 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $580,000 in 2007.

David and Susan Payne sold their Unit 301 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to James and Janice Baker, of Sarasota, for $473,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,830 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $345,000 in 2009.

First Federal Bank of Florida sold the home at 5719 Riegels Point Road to Vernu and Vatsnin Visvalingam, of Sarasota, for $999,000. Built in 1982, it has five bedrooms, four baths, one half-bath, a pool and 2,584 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.79 million in 2008.

George and Susan Loesel, of Bay City, Mich., sold their Unit 602 condominium at 625 Beach Road to Craig and Katherine Misch, of Bradenton, for $635,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,144 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 2008.

FV Land LLC sold the Unit 505 condominium at 5920 Midnight Pass Road to William and Tracy Cirioli, of Houston, for $577,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,352 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $495,000 in 2002.

Donald and Margaret Palmer sold their Unit 203-N condominium at 6310 Midnight Pass Road to Molly Naples and Deanne Lay, of Buffalo, N.Y., for $430,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 894 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $119,700 in 1987.
