After recovering from the internal inferno that was the Munchies 420 Cafe "Fire in Your Hole" challenge, our ever-humble reporter, Alex Mahadevan decided it was time for a real challenge — one of Sarasota's oldest and most sacred art forms: the circus.

Sailor Circus is currently preparing for its 65th Anniversary "Legacy" show, running this Thursday, April 3 through Saturday, April 5, at the Sailor Circus Arena. Saturday's show is the official anniversary celebration, and Alex couldn't resist challenging the students to feats of juggling, unicycling and aerial work on both the silks and the webs.

In a partnership with the Patterson Foundation's Legacy of Valor campaign, the show celebrates both the service of U.S. service men and women and the history of Sailor Circus. Tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for children.

Watch and decide for yourself who truly belongs under the big top.
