The Longboat Key Kiwanis Foundation announced its second round of grants for the 2014 season.

On April 3, four more organizations will receive funds raised from the 2013 Kiwanis Gourmet Lawn Party and its 2014 Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance. Receiving grants are the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida Council and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and Manatee counties. Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is a Kiwanis International partner, as well.
