Sarasota libraries celebrate local authors for National Library Week

Sarasota County Libraries will honor local authors for National Library Week Sunday, April 13 to Sunday, April 19.

Members of the community are invited to celebrate more than 30 local authors at five of the county’s libraries from Friday, April 11 to Friday, 18. Attendees will be able to meet the authors as well get their autographs.

Selby Library, Jacaranda Library, Gulf Gate Library, The Osprey Library at Historic Spanish Point and Elsie Quirk Library will host the free events. Authors to be featured include Eric Casey, Ronni Miller, Hamilton Queen and Lucy Tobias. 

 

Admission is free and open to the public.
