Swans Sully and Susie paired off last spring, and now the love birds have built a nest.

Unofficial swan keeper David Novak cautions that because it’s their first nest, it’s questionable whether the eggs will hatch, and, if they do, the cygnets of the first-time parents could be at high risk. Novak expects that, if the nest hatches, it will occur during the first week in May.
