Drivers on Tamiami Trail won't be able to miss John Sanders and his 120 pound cross. Sanders has been walking along Tamiami Trail since early this morning and plans to walk as far as Bradenton.
The Siesta Key resident has carried the cross every Good Friday for more than a decade.
"We have a country in dire need of a prayer," says Sanders.
