Five-bedroom Bird Key home sells for $6.1 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between April 7 and April 11.

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Douglas and Cynthia Tibbetts, of Sarasota, sold their home at 232 Seagull Lane to Mark and Ellen DiZio, of Sarasota, for $6.1 million. Built in 2006, it has five bedrooms, five baths, two half-baths, a pool and 7,287 square feet of living area.

Also on Bird Key, David and Tanya Schreibman, of Sarasota, sold their home at 526 Bird Key Drive to Jeffrey and Jacqueline Bohannon, of Sarasota, for $725,000. Built in 1965, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,858 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $907,000 in 2005.

L’Ambiance at Longboat Key Club
Paul Sobey and Janis Sobey-Hames, of Nova Scotia, Canada, sold their Unit F-208 condominium at 415 L’Ambiance Drive to Janis Hames, trustee, of Nova Scotia, for $2,220,300. Built in 1992, it has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two half-baths and 3,220 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,375,000 in 2011.

Alexander and Margaret Smith, of New York City, sold their Unit J-504 condominium at 435 L’Ambiance Drive to Ira and Julie Cohen, of Alpine, N.J., for $2 million. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, two baths, two half-baths and 2,634 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,075,000 in 2003.

Sanctuary at Longboat Key Club
Christine Rupp, trustee, of Fort Wayne, Ind., sold the Unit B-206 condominium at 545 Sanctuary Drive to Richard and Joanne White, of Gibsonia, Pa., for $730,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,375 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $495,000 in 1999.

The Players Club
Christopher and Deana Iacobelli, of Bradenton, sold their Unit 202 condominium at 1485 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Jane Sirkoch, of Renfrew, Pa., for $599,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,569 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2013.

Westchester
Michael Phenner, trustee, of Evanston, Ill., sold the Unit 604 condominium at 4825 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Stafford and Donna Parker, of Dunedin, for $590,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,393 square feet of living area.

Longboat Harbour Towers
Robert and Pamela Anderson, of Fort Lauderdale, sold their Unit 201 condominium at 4401 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Joseph Burke and Susan Sorrels, of Longboat Key, for $560,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,524 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $590,000 in 2003.

Eugene and Jean McGillis, trustees, of Douglas, Wis., sold the Unit 307 condominium at 4401 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Kerry Koep, of New Brighton, Minn., for $535,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,314 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $235,000 in 1998.

The Privateer South
Paul Haber and Linda Bollinger-Haber, of Tampa, sold their Unit 505 condominium at 1000 Longboat Club Road to Gwen Little, of Charleston, Ill., for $558,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,290 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000
in 2003.

Stephen and Sharon Danco sold their Unit 102 condominium at 1085 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Emilia Cowan, of Ontario, Canada, for $400,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,392 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $681,000 in 2005.

Bayport Beach and Tennis Club
Lidke Real Estate LLC sold the Unit 608 condominium at 608 Bayport Way to Robert Ellis Jr. and Susan Ellis, trustees, of Kansas City, Mo., for $337,500. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,260 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $440,000 in 2004.

Seaplace
Mary Murphy, of St. Louis, sold her Unit G3-204D condominium at 2039 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Dennis and Louise DeCicco, of Leonia, N.J., for $295,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,214 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $148,000 in 1988.

Longboat Harbour
Sarah Shaw-Hayton, administrator of estate, sold the Unit 304 condominium at 4340 Falmouth Drive to JPMorgan Chase Bank for $256,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 928 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $370,000 in 2004.

Longboat Arms
Thomas and Susan Hallworth, of East Hampstead, N.H., sold their Unit 303-C condominium at 3320 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Bryan Zediker, of Oviedo, for $244,900. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,187 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $164,500 in 1999.

Leslie Leeming, of Wilton, Conn., sold the Unit 20 condominium at 533 Forest Way to Stephen and Doreen Lang, of Shelby Township, Mich., for $222,000. Built in 1990, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,440 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $245,000
in 2003.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Peggy Monaco and James Pierce, trustees, of Punta Gorda, sold the Unit 77 condominium at 906 Spanish Drive S. to Michael and Judy Behny, of Marshall, Ill., for $205,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,427 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $72,500 in 1987.

Leon and Belva Horn, of Winona Lake, Ind., sold their Unit 306 condominium at 1001 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Thomas Gilroy, of Moosic, Pa., for $390,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,367 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $360,000 in 2009.
