High five moments of the week

1 - The Out-of-Door Academy junior Tre Gregory cleared 14 feet, 6 inches to finish second in the pole vault at the Class 1A-Region 3 meet April 17 and earn a berth in the Class 1 track and field finals May 2.

2 - The Coastline Volleyball 15 Rox team went undefeated in 10 matches to win the 80-team Northeast Qualifier April 12 to April 14, in Philadelphia. It earned a berth in the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships, in Minneapolis.

3 - The Braden River Middle School boys basketball team defeated Haile Middle School to win the district championship April 17.

4 - Braden River runner Michael Braxton crossed the finish line in 51.13 seconds to win the 400-meter dash at the Class 3A-District 10 meet April 16, in Clearwater.

5 - The Out-of-Door boys lacrosse team finished as the District 25 runner-up April 17.
