+ Lighthouse Property Management adds location
This month, Lighthouse Property Management adds its fifth location, located at 458 N. Tamiami Trail, in Osprey. The new location will house the company’s executive offices.

Lighthouse Property Management provides condominiums, associations and HOAs with management services, financial services, websites and emergency-alert services. Lighthouse has four other offices in Sarasota, Longboat Key, Venice and Osprey.

Ellen Laura Esses has joined the Sarasota office of RE/MAX Alliance Group as a broker/associate. A lifelong sales professional with 10 years of real estate experience, Esses applies her strong customer service and negotiation skills to help clients make informed decisions and achieve the best results.

+ Heritage Oaks recognized for environmental efforts
Heritage Oaks Golf and Country Club has retained its designation as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary through the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf, an Audubon International program.

The golf course was originally designated as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary in 2011, and is one of 114 in Florida and 889 courses in the world to receive the honor. Courses from the United States, Africa, Australia, Central America, Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia have also achieved certification in the program.

Participation is designed to help course personnel plan, organize, implement and document a comprehensive environmental management program and receive recognition for their efforts.

“Heritage Oaks Golf and Country Club has shown a strong commitment to its environmental program,” said Doug Bechtel, associate director of environmental programs at Audubon International. “They are to be commended for their efforts to provide a sanctuary for wildlife on the golf course property.”

After designation, courses go through a recertification process every two years.
