The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and State College of Florida (SCF) are collaborating by way of a masters program.

SCF students who meet admissions requirements will now gain early acceptance to LECOM's Masters in Health Services program.

"We are very excited about our agreement with the State College of Florida,” MHSA program Director Sonia Dillon said in a previously released statement. "We look forward to a mutually rewarding relationship that will enable us to improve the costs, quality and access to healthcare in our community."

The MHSA program provides students with skills to plan, direct and coordinate medical and health services.

Most of the program will be offered online, but students will also attend class meetings at the Bradenton campus, located at 4800 Lakewood Ranch Blvd.
