Day Trippin' — Sarasota Bayfront Park

Sarasota Bayfront Park is a very popular place to walk your dog, watch the sunset, go to dinner or take your children to the playground. This park is very photogenic any time of day, as it's surrounded by water and boats docked at the marina. If you're ever near this park between 5 and 8 p.m. you're in for a real Sarasota treat.

Sarasota Warrior, a local free running academy and aerial yoga studio, heads out to the park every Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. There are slack lines, aerial silks and smiles everywhere. Strangers walking through the park gather to watch and are invited and welcomed to join in at any time.

Having come to this park a lot growing up, it is nice to see the community growing with it. It's important to get outside and enjoy the nature — and a little exercise is never a bad thing!  Seeing this park put to use to play outside and take in Sarasota at its finest is a true beauty!
