When it comes to makeup, you should think of your eyes as the focal point in the masterpiece that is your beautiful face. There are some basic rules to creating the perfect look but for the most part, it is all about channeling your inner DaVinci and Van Gogh. WARNING: These tip and tricks are to be use ONLY after you have become a master of your craft (or at least at prepping and priming).

Greek Goddess: The Ethereal bronze-beauty look is something that's simple, sexy and always in style. After you've primed, sweep a copper cream shadow from your lash line to right above the crease of your eyelid, making sure that it's well-blended. Take that same copper color and line just under your bottom lashes from the outside corner to two thirds of the way in and stop there (making sure everything is well blended). Finish off that one third inner lash line with a light pink or pearly iridescent shadow or highlighter. Using an angled brush, make a thin line with brown shadows along the upper lashes, just to enhance your natural lash line, and finish that off with mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

Smoke and Smolder: Traditional smoky eyes draw on dark browns and moody grays, and it’s really all about layering and blending. Use a fluffy blending brush and start with a light slate-gray wash all over the lid from lash line to mid-lid between the crease and brow. Grab your tapered blending brush and a medium dark gray and apply that on your crease and drag it down along your top lash line to connect at the corner of the eye.

Using the same brush and shadow, apply to lower lash line, making sure there are no harsh lines. To line your eye, make sure you have a soft, creamy liner in a dark gray or black color. Run that along your top and bottom lash line, making the line slightly thicker toward the outer half of the eye. Go back over the liner with that tapered blending brush and make sure the line is very well blended, focusing on any harsh lines. Now for the cherry on top — take a pearly white shadow or highlighter and sweep that on your lid below the brow bone, blending into the existing shadow. Take the same shadow or highlighter to the center of your eyes right at the inner corner, and this will give you the illusion of having bigger, wide-awake eyes. Now whip out the creamiest mascara you have and go bold with dangerously alluring false lashes. This look pairs super well with a soft lip, something in the nude or pink family, and don't forget to fill in the brows for an allover polished look.
