Country Club Shores home sells for $1,649,000

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Aug. 11 and Aug. 15.

A home in Country Club Shores tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Noel and Margaret Buterbaugh, of Frederick, Md., sold their home at 570 Chipping Lane to Michael and Martha Gervasi, of West Hartford, Conn., for $1,649,000. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,585 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.64 million in 2004.

The Beaches of Longboat Key
Carlos and Carmen Lazcano, of Fairfax Station, Va., sold their Unit 806 condominium at 775 Longboat Club Road to Vikram Akula and Akula Krishna, of Scotia, N.Y., for $700,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,524 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $610,000 in 2003.

Sleepy Lagoon
Sitaram Josyula, trustee, of Clinton, N.Y., sold the home at 563 Juan Anasco Drive to John and Helen Barrott, of Tierra Verde, for $638,000. Built in 1951, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,527 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $416,000 in 2004.

John Sommers and Phyllis Lovrien, of Madison, Wis., sold their home at 601 Norton St. to Agnes Peterson, of Stamford, Conn., for $480,000. Built in 1986, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,878 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $490,000 in 2002.

Longboat Harbour Towers
Judy Friedman, trustee, sold the Unit 607 condominium at 4401 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Richard Arenstrup and Donna Walker, of Longboat Key, for $565,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,314 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $140,000 in 1981.

Islander Club of Longboat
Andras Realty LLC sold the Unit 22-S condominium at 2295 Gulf of Mexico Drive to LBK Beach Property LLC for $460,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,235 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $155,000 in 1990.

Continental Sea Club
RHS Properties Inc. sold the Unit 30 condominium at 4141 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Scotty Jones, of Pitts, Ga., for $450,000. Built in 1954, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 696 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $160,500 in 1996.

Seaplace
Milton Richter, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit G4-404-G condominium at 1975 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Gerald and Karen Smith, of Greenwood, Ind., for $401,300. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,068 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $520,000 in 2007.

Robin Rajki, of Tarpon Springs, sold her Unit G4-302-E condominium at 1975 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Forrest McSurdy and John Martin Jr., of Biscayne, for $375,000. Built in 1977, it has one bedroom, one-and-a-half baths and 992 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $257,500 in 2003.

Cedars East
Elizabeth Wilson sold her Unit 13 condominium at 519 Forest Way to Kirk and Johanna Studzinski, of Paducah, Ky., for $215,000. Built in 1990, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,440 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $421,000 in 2005.
