Neal purchases land in Lakewood Ranch

Builder Neal Communities has purchased 111 acres in Lakewood Ranch for $8.3 million from Schroeder-Manatee Ranch. The deal closed Aug. 18.

Neal Communities Special Projects Manager Dale Weidemiller said the property will be combined with an existing approval on a 40-acre parcel. The project, which in total will have 420 homes, will be called Indigo.
