Event Preview: Men, Whiskey and Watches

Like whiskey? Cigars? Watches? Of course you do. Let's not be silly.

What if you could enjoy all those things and help fight child abuse in our community at the same time? In most cases, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. In this case, it's called Men, Whiskey and Watches.

The second annual event takes place from 4 to 8 p.m. this Thursday, Dec. 4, at the Phillippi Estates Mansion, and if you're looking for a guy's night (or day) out, you can't do much better than this. Tickets are $150 and include displays of the newest BMWs, premium cigars, whiskey tastings, clothing displays, luxury watch displays, casino games and food and drink.

Plus, the event benefits the Child Protection Center of Sarasota, which serves families in Sarasota and DeSoto counties with prevention, intervention and treatment services.
