Stacy Rosenberg and her son, Logan, may have more in common than they realize, such as their taste in books.
Logan read “Wonder” in his fourth-grade class at Gene Witt Elementary School, while Stacy Rosenberg also was reading the same story. “Wonder” tells the story of August — a boy who suffers from craniofacial disfigurations and is bullied in school.
Rosenberg read the story, because her cousin, Alyssa Henkin, edited the book and it became a New York Times best seller. After hearing how much Logan enjoyed the story, Rosenberg arranged for him and his class to talk with Henkin over the phone earlier this month.
For the Rosenbergs the phrase, “Great minds think alike,” rings true.
