Saturday, Dec. 6

  • AIDS Walk Sarasota / Manatee  takes place at 8 a.m. at J.D. Hamel Park and goes over the John Ringling Bridge. Walk raises AIDS awareness and funds for Trinity Charities.
  • Atomic Holiday Bazaar — takes place from noon to 5 p.m. at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium. Check out the coolest indie crafts in the area Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. $5 or free for children ages 12 and younger.
  • Jingle Hell Rock — takes place at 5 p.m. at Vatican City Vinyl. Stock up on music for your holiday season with this Christmas party. Event features $250 in gift card giveaways, free food, BYOB and live music by Buffalo WizardsLesa Silvermore and Emily Owen Music. Free. 
  • Nik Wallenda Sarasota Ford High Wire Walk — takes place at 5 p.m. at Sarasota Ford. Celebrate Sarasota Ford's grand re-opening with the King of the High Wire as he walks a tightrope 100 feet above the ground. Walk takes place at 5 p.m.
  • Holiday Villains Art Show — takes place at  6 p.m. at Mr. Beery's. In this fourth installment of Mr. Beery's' art shows, local artists will display holiday villain-themed artwork.
