Dec. 7
BAD EGGS
2:15 a.m. — 1900 block of Central Avenue. Criminal Mischief. A woman reported that, while she was driving south on Central Avenue, she noticed three teenage males standing at the intersection. As she approached, the males started to throw eggs at her vehicle; a couple hit the back window of her car. The woman stopped her car, and the males fled the area. Officers were unable to locate the males.

AR-REST ROOM
10:53 a.m. — 1900 block of Fruitville Road. Trespassing. An officer received a call at a drugstore after a woman refused to come out of the bathroom for 40 minutes. The manager said he wanted the woman trespassed from the store. The woman agreed that it was wrong for her not to leave, but that she was cleaning herself up at the time.

BREAK UP/IN
3:04 p.m. — 700 block of North East Avenue. Criminal Mischief. A man said that his girlfriend of two years left his apartment two weeks earlier, but that she had left most of her belongings and kept a key to the residence. He received a message from her on Facebook with a picture of his clothing piled on the floor of the apartment; in one of the messages, the woman said she was done messing up his house. When the man returned to the apartment, he found clothing strewn all over the floor and a vulgar message written on the door with fingernail polish. The fingernail polish was also on the leather sofa, and his DVD player was broken. The woman’s property had been removed. The man said he did not want to pursue any charges, but that he wanted the incident documented. Officers advised the man to change the locks.

Dec. 8
KNOCK IT OFF
6 a.m. — 2300 block of Bay Street. Criminal Mischief. A woman reported that someone damaged her mailbox. Officers observed that someone appeared to have hit the object, causing a dent and scratches. The mailbox was still operational, but may need to be replaced, the woman said. She added that the vacant house next to hers had the mailbox totally removed from its post by someone, and officers observed someone appeared to have hit that mailbox in a similar fashion.
