On the Moo-ve
8 a.m. — 14000 block of State Road 62. Theft. A man that runs a livestock show company from his home reported that someone stole cattle-showing equipment from his farm. The next day, the equipment was returned and left on his back porch after the victim posted a reward of $500 if the equipment was returned and the suspect was found. Police couldn’t find any fingerprints on the equipment and it’s unknown who returned it.

Damaged decorations
9:05 a.m. — 3300 block of 49th Avenue East. Criminal Mischief. Someone stole a man’s outside Christmas decorations and damaged a decoration that was left on the lawn. Other neighbors reported similar Christmas decoration vandalism.

Motel mayhem
4:43 p.m. — 600 block of 67th Street Circle East. Theft. A man told police his ex-girlfriend drove in to celebrate his birthday with him. They ended up in a motel, and he awoke to find the door to the motel open and all of his personal belongings stolen.

Speeding proves costly
8:20 a.m. — Intersection of State Road 70 East and River Club Boulevard. Speeding. Police observed a woman speeding and pulled her over. She was cited for reckless driving and driving without a valid driver’s license. Her tag was also seized.
Keep it down
1:35 p.m. — 6400 block of Blue Grosbeak Circle. Disturbance. Police responded to a complaint of a loud argument inside of a home. There was no observed violence. The police gave the couple domestic violence packets and asked them to keep it down.
Caught red light-handed
4:49 p.m. — 3900 block of 53rd Avenue East. Traffic Violation. A deputy was sitting at a red light when he witnessed someone run a light right in front of him. The man was cited for running a red light and driving without a valid driver’s license.

Bike swipe
10:25 a.m. — 9500 block of State Road 64 East. Theft. A boy secured his bicycle to a bike rack at his middle school when his mother picked him up to attend a function. When they returned to retrieve the bike that weekend, nothing was left but broken pieces of the lock.
