Dec. 12
WALKING ON EGGSHELLS
1:10 p.m. 200 block of Signal Point Circle. Suspicion General. A woman reported that an unknown person put broken eggshells on her doormat. No damage was done to the structure of the apartment, and the woman was uncertain who might be responsible.

Dec. 13
MAKING A SPLASH
12:48 p.m. — 900 block of Benjamin Franklin Drive. Dispute/Fight. The manager of a resort said he was having a problem with another man, who was refusing to leave the premises. Someone registered a complaint about the man, who was cursing by the pool and being disruptive toward other guests. When officers spoke with the man, he agreed to leave.

Dec. 14
NEW DEAL
10:24 a.m. — 800 block of Mecca Drive. Civil Problem. A woman contacted officers after her roommate of three weeks refused to pay rent. The woman provided a statement, written by the roommate, which said she would pay $200 for rent each month. When officers contacted the roommate, she said she was not going to pay her rent, that she had no money and that she would move out next month.

DOG-CHASE-DOG
12:26 p.m. — 2300 block of Floyd Street. Dispute/Fight. Two neighbors got into an argument after a dog from an adjacent property came onto another man’s property. The man who registered the complaint said he heard his dog barking in distress while he was doing yard work. When he went to investigate the problem, he saw the neighbor’s dog barking and chasing his dog around. The neighbor said the dog belonged to a friend visiting from out of town, and that it escaped out of the front door when another person was entering. The neighbor said he would make sure the dog didn’t cause any further issues.

HOLIDAY DISPIRIT
6:18 p.m. — 1600 block of 23rd Street. Criminal Mischief. A man said that, upon returning home, he discovered a clay pot had been broken, a grill had been knocked over and a box of Christmas decorations had been dumped out at his house. He believed that the incident might have been related to a confrontation he had with juveniles in the area earlier that week. The man said the two rear tires of his car also went flat earlier in the day for an unknown reason, though officers were not able to determine whether that incident was related.
