The holiday spirit certainly shines brightly this season in Sarasota neighborhoods. We searched far and wide for the best and brightest holiday lights displays this year. Grab a cup of hot cocoa before you pile in the car with your family to take a tour of some of the not-to-be-missed displays in the area.

Frosty family
Looking for the man with the jolly, happy soul, corn cob pipe, a button nose and two eyes made out of coal? Look no further. Frosty the snowman comes to life with his family at this lights display. And Santa’s sleigh and his reindeers are the centerpiece at this colorful home. Listen closely and you might just hear a favorite Christmas tune or two.

Swift Spirit
All aboard the Christmas Express! A giant train stretches across the front lawn of this Swift Road home. Santa Claus figurines and animatronics move inside the train cars as they prepare for a ride to the North Pole. A daredevil Santa even rides in a helicopter perched on the roof, while another Santa prepares to take off in his sleigh to return to his present-giving route.
on his sleigh.

Street cred
The entire cul-de-sac of Regatta Circle in Gulf Gate is sure to please with almost every one of the houses on the street decorated. You’ll know you’ve arrived at the end of Regatta Drive and Anchor Way when you see the Merry Christmas sign shining above the trees. There is even a lawn with special holiday pig light display.

Sensational Showstopper
Seeing the lights on this home will surely make any miser merry. You may even need to wear a pair of sunglasses to view the amount of lights and figurines at this home. Every spot on the lawn is filled with Christmas trees, reindeer, snowmen and even the jolly man himself, Santa Claus. If you look closely enough you can see the penguins playing on an igloo while a polar bear keeps watch.

Bright beauty
This residence in the Southside Village drips with elegant lights. Simple white twinkling lights outline the shape of the house, and icicles hang from the roofline. Even the trees that frame the driveway are draped in lights that make this home visible from down the block. Make sure to drive slowly down this street to take in all the neighborly holiday spirit on display.

Siesta Santa
Tucked away at the intersection of Higel Avenue and Ocean Boulevard is this merry display. Candy canes covered in multicolored lights greet Santa as he comes in for a landing on Siesta Key with a shining star to light his way. This home uses a multitude of colors so Santa’s runway shines brightly.
