Point of Rocks home sells for $3.2 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Dec. 1 and Dec. 5. A home in Point of Rocks tops all transactions in this week’s real estate.

Iren and Valerie Pober, of Sarasota, sold their home at 7102 Point of Rocks Circle to Stacey Siegel, of Orlando, for $3.2 million. Built in 2008, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,582 square feet of living area.

The Tower Residences
Joanne DelMastro, of Glastonbury, Conn., sold the Unit 1103 condominium at 35 Watergate Drive to JoAnn Bono, trustee, of Sarasota, for $2.15 million. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,985 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,575,000 in 2011.

Cherokee Park
Elizabeth Scarlett sold her home at 1763 North Drive to John and Megan Leaf, of Sarasota, for $1 million. Built in 1950, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 3,451 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1 million in 2005.

Sarasota Bay Club
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 314 condominium at 1301 N. Tamiami Trail to Mark and Elaine Beck, of Sarasota, for $900,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,299 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $765,000 in 2000.

Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 1009 condominium at 1301 N. Tamiami Trail to Gloria Weissberg, of Sarasota, for $815,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,546 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,500 in 2001.

Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 322 condominium at 1299 N. Tamiami Trail to Barbara Lasker, of Sarasota, for $380,000. Built in 2003, it has one bedroom, one-and-a-half baths and 1,170 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $290,000 in 2013.

Matthew Clark and Andrea Clark, of Louisville, Ky., sold their home at 2392 Fiesta Drive to Michael and Mary Quillen, of Sarasota, for $889,000. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 4,121 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $744,000 in 2010.

Janice Bowers, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1648 Pine Harrier Circle to Rita Spitz and David Blears, trustees, of Winnetka, Ill., for $755,000. Built in 1984, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,438 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $510,000 in 2002.

Inocencio Linhares, of Simpsonville, S.C., sold his home at 4239 Hearthstone Drive to Timothy and Sandra Cahill, of Seminole, for $401,100. Built in 1993, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,570 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $203,700 in 1993.

Robert Betette Jr., trustee, and Michele Gillett, of Kentfield, Calif., sold two properties at 5200 Siesta Cove Drive to Edmund and Amy Maroney, of Hingham, Mass., for $1.5 million. W.M. Reese Properties LLC sold the home at 378 Canal Road to Badie Farag, of Sarasota, for $1,250,000. Built in 1948, it has seven bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,908 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $476,000 in 2007.

Siesta Isles
Matthew Grass, trustee, and Michelle Herzog, of Sarasota, sold the home at 5348 Shadow Lawn Drive to Jim and Cheryl Slater, of Sarasota, for $900,000. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,642 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $712,000 in 2010.
