Obituary: Jerry Slansky

Jerry Slansky, 67, of Longboat Key, died Dec. 15.

Mr. Slansky raised his family in Glen Ellyn and Lane Geneva, Ill., and worked 36 years as a managing director and “financial pal” at Oppenheimer & Co.

Mr. Slansky is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marlene; children Brett and Blake; and two grandchildren.

A memorial gathering was held Dec. 18, at Leonard Memorial Home in Glen Ellyn, and a funeral service was held Dec. 19, at the First Presbyterian Church of Glen Ellyn.
