Bay Plaza condo sells for $810,000

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Dec. 8 and Dec. 12.

A condominium in Bay Plaza tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Ibrahim and Gamila Ibrahim, of Clearwater, sold their Unit 1403 condominium at 1255 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Betty Hegner, trustee, of Lakewood Ranch, for $810,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,565 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $790,000 in 2005.

SARASOTA
Sapphire Shores
Stephen and Susan McDonald, of Sarasota, sold their home at 360 N. Shore Drive to Jonathan Keller, of Lakewood Ranch, for $615,000. Built in 1957, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,240 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $320,000 in 2010.

The Landings
John and Janice Sullivan, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1742 Peregrine Point Drive to Alan and Laurene Ross, of Sarasota, for $535,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,447 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $266,800 in 1987.

The Villas on Laurel
John and Regina Kearney, of Middlesex, Mass., sold their Unit 8 condominium at 1685 Laurel St. to Joseph and Margaret Spinella, of Sarasota, for $465,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,856 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 2005.

Jeffrey and Sherri Marsalese, of Allegheny, Pa., sold their Unit 602 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to Jean-Michel and Nelly Olive, of Bormes les Mimosas, France, for $373,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,323 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $519,000 in 2007.

Brenda Hill, of Sarasota, sold her home at 7513 Cove Terrace to Edward and Kay Talbot, of Sarasota, for $314,500. Built in 1960, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,663 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $338,000 in 2003.

Stephen Campion, of Sarasota, sold the home at 2120 Wisteria St. to Mission Property Partners LLC for $303,000. Built in 1949, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,922 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $235,000 in November.

Avis McHenry and Renee McHenry, trustees, sold the Unit 177 condominium at 1615 Clower Creek Drive to Mark and Barbara Hartman, of Canaan, N.Y., for $250,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,703 square feet of living area.

South Gate
Andrew Misner and Sabrina Sullivan, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3249 Key Ave. to Michele Mancini, trustee, of Sarasota, for $245,000. Built in 1965, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,760 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $145,000 in 2013.

Diane Lewis, of Sarasota, sold her home at 5325 Fox Run Way to Marketa Kabelova, of Sarasota, for $218,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, one-and-a-half baths, a pool and 1,513 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $156,000 in 2010.

David Houston, trustee, of S. Burlington, Vt., sold the home at 941 Pinto Circle to Stephen Lattmann, trustee, of Nokomis, for $395,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,475 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $330,000 in 2003.

Joseph and Sharon Demmin, of Venice, sold their home at 236 Matisse Circle to Stephen Marcusa, of Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J., for $225,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,827 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $119,900 in 1992.
