1. 4300 Higel Ave., Siesta Key
John and Karen Melk sold their home on Siesta Key in Fiddler Bayou at 4300 Higel Ave. to Jeffrey and Susan Jones, of Sarasota, for $10.25 million in June. Built in 2008, it has six bedrooms, six baths, three half-baths, a pool and 8,623 square feet of living area.

2. 8250 Sanderling Road, Siesta Key
David and Nancy Freund sold their home on Siesta Key in Siesta Properties at 8250 Sanderling Road to Michael Brown, trustee, of Sarasota, for $8.85 million in August. Built in 2000, it has five bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 7,756 square feet of living area.

3. 712 N. Casey Key Road, Nokomis
Henry and Dawn Duques, of Bradenton, sold two properties on Casey Key at 712 N. Casey Key Road to Christopher Broom and Joanne Broom, trustees, of North Hampton, N.H., for $8 million in October. The first, built in 1999, has six bedrooms, eight baths, a pool and 13,553 square feet of living area. The second, built in 1999, has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,472 square feet of living area.

4. 6629 Peacock Road, Siesta Key
Sharon Nizolek, of Sarasota, sold her Siesta Key home at 6629 Peacock Road to Jeffery Kints, of Ontario, Canada, for $6,344,700 in October. Built in 2008, it has five bedrooms, seven baths, one half-bath, a pool and 9,375 square feet of living area.

5. 2016 Casey Key Road, Nokomis
Richard and Katharine Lannamann, of Fairfield, Conn., sold their Casey Key home at 2016 Casey Key Road to Tracie Langston, of Booneville, Miss., for $6.2 million in September. Built in 2010, it has six bedrooms, five baths, two half-baths, a pool and 7,783 square feet of living area.

6. 636 Beach Road, Siesta Key
Saba Sands LLC sold the home in Siesta Beach at 636 Beach Road to BFSK LLC for $4.95 million in November. Built in 2000, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 3,990 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4.1 million in 2012.

7. 648 Beach Road, Siesta Key
Jeffrey Roberti, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Siesta Key home at 648 Beach Road to Crescent Property Holdings Partnership for $4,481,400 in December. Built in 1996, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 4,746 square feet of living area.

8. 1540 Hillview Drive, Sarasota
Jeffrey and Leigh Kints, of Ontario, Canada, sold their home at 1540 Hillview Drive to Ryan Gilbertson, of Wayzata, Minn., for $4.5 million in July. Built in 2000, it has five bedrooms, six baths, one half-bath, a pool and 7,074 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3,776,200 in 2013.

Insula Inc. sold the Siesta Key home at 156 Givens St. to M. Allen and Charlene Hatfield, of Sarasota, for $4.25 million in April. Built in 2008, it has four bedrooms, four baths, one half-bath, a pool and 4,946 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4.1 million in 2008.

Daniel Long III, trustee, sold the Unit PH9B condominium at La Bellasara, 464 Golden Gate Point, to C.L. Bonci, trustee, of Sarasota, for $4.25 million in March. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, four baths, one half-bath and 5,469 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4.63 million in 2012.
