Home in Siesta Properties sells for $1.75 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Jan. 20 and Jan. 24.

A home in Siesta Properties tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Christopher and Maria McCann sold their home at 7647 Sanderling Road to Federico Matheu and Sheba Matheu, trustees, of Sterling, Va., for $1.75 million. Built in 1961, it has three bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath, a pool and 3,647 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,055,000 in 2008.

SARASOTA
Orange Blossom Tower
Louis Rosen, trustee, sold the Unit 6 condominium at 1330 Main St. to Eric Zampol and Tiffany Pitre-Zampol, of Sarasota, for $1.3 million. Built in 1926, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,954 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.43 million in 2005.

Poinsettia Park
Annemiek De Vos and Mark Dickson, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1855 Orchid St. to Thomas and April Pampalone, of Sarasota, for $840,000. Built in 2005, it has four bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,971 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $773,000 in 2012.

William Brown and William Zaremba sold the home at 1911 Orchid St. to Holly Barbour, of Sarasota, for $420,000. Built in 1952, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,138 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $445,000 in 2005.

Sarasota Bay Club
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 1120 condominium at 1299 N. Tamiami Trail to Timothy Musios and Serena Macaluso, of Sarasota, for $820,000. Built in 2003, it has two bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 1,849 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $885,000 in 2009.

McClellan Park
Brian and Deidre Beaudette sold their home at 1530 Blue Heron Drive to Michael and Melissa Long, of Sarasota, for $575,000. Built in 1958, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,688 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $525,000 in 2013.

Bay Plaza
Judy Baumgarten, of Christiansted, Virgin Islands, sold her Unit 701 condominium at 1255 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Dixie Lee, trustee, of Sarasota, for $567,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,901 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $198,000 in 1986.

Akgun Temizer, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 1603 condominium at 888 Blvd. of the Arts to Stuart and Barbara Levine, of New York, for $560,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2009.

Dixie Lee, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1756 Pine Harrier Circle to Annemiek De Vos, of Sarasota, for $505,000. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 2,210 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $485,000 in 2008.

Audrey Kester, trustee, sold the Unit 9 condominium at 5934 Tidewood Ave. to MaryAnn Wolf, of Sarasota, for $465,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,288 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $692,000 in 2006.

Stephen Holm sold his home at 4114 Bay Shore Road to Thomas and Carilyn Richardson, of Temecula, Calif., for $390,000. Built in 1926, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,048 square feet of living area.
Anita Bartholomew sold her home at 4237 Sarasota Ave. to 4237 Sarasota Ave LLC for $290,000. Built in 1940, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,803 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $154,000 in 1999.

Frank and Taunia Howell, of Sarasota, sold their home at 361 Avenida Leona to Neil Sauvage and Lynnae Sauvage, of Sarasota, for $830,000. Built in 1968, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,614 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $180,000 in 1996.

Whisperings Sands
Paul and Janice Monsen, trustees, sold the Unit 704 condominium at 19 Whisperings Sands Drive to Theophilus and Iris Fletcher, of Sarasota, for $615,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,282 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000 in 2002.
