Mustangs bound for Final Four

The Lakewood Ranch High boys soccer team defeated Seminole 5-3 in the Class 4A-Region 3 finals Feb. 7.

Ryan Sollazzo scored a pair of goals and notched an assist to lead the way for Lakewood. Ben Wilson, Felipe Dangond and Connor Franko each added a goal for the Mustangs. Jake Dube had a pair of assists.

With the win, the Mustangs captured their first-ever berth in the Final Four. Lakewood will face Melbourne in the state semifinals at 10 a.m. Feb. 14, at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne.
