Winter concert series returns

This week the first installment of the second annual Winter Concert Series begins Thursday, Feb. 13.

Performances run from 5 to 7 p.m. every Thursday this month at Selby Five Points Park.

The Downtown Sarasota Alliance invites families and members of the community to enjoy Sarasota’s downtown with the free concert series.

French singer Michelet Innocent will perform old-time favorites and love songs at all three shows:

Feb. 13 — "Paris in the Park"
Feb. 20 — Tribute to Nat King Cole
Feb. 27 — "Romantic Oldies"
