BRHS student 'artist of the month'

Braden River High School’s Art Department has selected student Rachel Stenger as the February “student of the month” for the Artists’ Guild of Anna Maria Island.  

Her Digital Artwork, “The Dealer,” is a creative self portrait.

The Guild Gallery, at 5414 Marina Drive, Holmes Beach, will display Wenger’s artwork through the end of February.

Rachel, 19, is a senior and plans to major in illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design. She has exhibited her art at the “Heart & Soul” event in Manatee County for the past two years, and she won a second place and a merit award there. 
Her art teacher is William Ferrell.
