The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Bradenton campus held white coat ceremonies Feb. 8 for 136 pharmacy students and 192 medical students at Harvest United Methodist Church.

The white coat ceremony is a LECOM tradition inspiring students to commit to the highest principles related to the practice of osteopathic medicine and pharmacy.

Following the ceremony, they begin a new part of their education — interacting with physicians and pharmacists in clinics, hospitals and pharmacies throughout the country.
