+ Windward Bay residents have birds on the brain during Celery Fields trip
Windward Bay resident Mark Davis, an Audubon-certified naturalist, recently used his eagle eyes to lead his neighbors on a birding trip to the Celery Fields, where he serves as a docent at the boardwalk.
On Feb. 10, Davis led a group of approximately 10 residents on a two-hour tour, during which they spotted 26 species. They ended their morning by spotting approximately 15 roseate spoonbills flying over the water at eye-level and dazzling in the sunlight.
