Feb. 17
PUTTING UP A FIGHT

11:40 p.m. 1400 block of Main Street. Trespassing. Officers were investigating a crime, when a man interrupted them by yelling about Tallahassee. The man moved into the middle of the intersection, obstructing traffic, while continuing to yell at the officers. The man tried to force his way into a nightclub, at which point the owner asked for the man to be trespassed. While officers were investigating the trespass, the man went back into the middle of the intersection. During the trespass investigation, the man left the area despite the officers’ instructions to remain in the area. The man entered a restaurant and tried to go through the back door into the kitchen, where his wheelchair got stuck. The man started crawling out the back door when officers caught him. While officers were detaining the man, he tried to bite them.

Feb. 21
DULY NOTED

5:45 p.m. — 500 block of Bailey Road. Civil Problem. A woman complained that a tenant at her property had his door vandalized. The tenant said the person who wrote on the door was an acquaintance of his. The tenant said he owed the vandal money, and that the vandal wrote a message on the door asking for repayment. The woman said she would give the tenant 30 days to repaint the door, and the tenant said he would ask his acquaintance not to write graffiti on his door anymore.

UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS
10:25 p.m. — 400 block of North Briggs Avenue. Disturbing the Peace. After hearing a loud noise, an anonymous complainant called the police. Officers contacted a woman named by the complainant. The woman said she was with her husband and was unaware of the noise they were making. The woman said she had an ongoing dispute with her upstairs neighbor.

Feb. 22
ROGUE ROOFERS

12:13 p.m. — 500 block of South Orange Avenue. Dispute/Fight. A man reported that unauthorized construction workers were on the roof of his property. The man attempted to get the construction workers to move. The construction workers came down from the roof, at which point the man confronted one of the workers. The two parties’ accounts of the situation differed, but they both agreed that a verbal argument occurred but nothing physical happened. The workers told the man they would stay off his roof.

Feb. 23
CLEAN BREAK

3:29 p.m. — 1200 block of Panama Drive. BF/GF/Family. A woman said she got in a verbal argument with her son about his going out with friends. The woman said her son cursed at her and kicked cleaning solution all over the floor before leaving. The woman said her son was on probation and that she would call his probation officer and inform him of what her son did.
