WEEKEND BEST BET: Dabbert Gallery 10th Anniversary Exhibition

Bundle up in your sweaters and head down to Palm Ave. for the First Friday Art Walk tonight. Be sure to stop at Dabbert Gallery to help David and Patricia Dabbert celebrate their tenth season in operation. If you stop by from 6 to 8:30 p.m. you'll get to meet 10 of the Florida artists they've frequently showcased art from over the past 10 years in the opening of the 10th Anniversary Exhibition.

Artists present will be Robert Baxter, Jeff Cornell, James Griffin, Bill Jerdon, Barbara Krupp, Beatrice del Perugia, Craig Rubadoux, Nancy Turner, Thyra Wexler and Russell Woody.

This weekend best bet coincides with the First Friday Art Walk on Palm Ave. Every first Friday, each gallery on Palm Ave. hosts an opening reception of the work they feature — it's always a lot of fun. If you haven't yet been to one of these art walks, it's a perfect night to try one out.
