+ Babies on board at SOS
Baby-bird season is upon us. Save Our Seabirds sees an influx of our feathered friends at the beginning of each year. Whether they are blown out of their nest, rejected by their mother or failed at their first flying attempt, hundreds of baby birds are brought to SOS in hopes of giving them a second chance. This year’s first visitor is a young great blue heron.
“The best chance of survival was to bring him here,” said David Pilston, CEO of the organization.
