For Lakewood Ranch resident Doreen Degirolamo, the best Christmas gift was one she already had at home.

Just before Christmas, Doreen lost her balance and fell, breaking her favorite bird statue. Much to her surprise, her husband, Pat, found a way to fix it.

“In this holiday season of spending on gifts with money we don’t have just to give someone something, this gift will last forever in my home and in my heart,” Degirolamo says.
