In only five days, 2145 Alameda Ave. had already begun to transform, as 23 of Sarasota’s finest interior designers put together the final touches of this year’s designer showhouse.

The home, which sits on Sarasota Bay in the Indian Beach neighborhood, is the only home featured for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Sarasota County’s 19th annual Jewels on the Bay Designer Showhouse event.
The beautiful, secluded property sits on an acre and a half of land, surrounded by lush trees and plants — designers call it a “magical paradise on the bay.” The home, which is 10,000 square feet, has 23 spaces (including the outside grounds) that are being redesigned for the public exhibition.

The home will be open to the public daily starting Sunday, Jan. 19, and ending Sunday, Feb. 16. A preview party and exclusive tour, chaired by designers Jeff and Joyce Hart, will be held Saturday, Jan. 18.
