Oyster Bay Estates home sells for $2,425,500

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Dec. 30 and Jan. 3.

A home in Oyster Bay Estates tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Peter Gallagher and Caroline Boutte sold their home at 1414 N. Lake Shore Drive to Barbara DePaul, trustee, of Vincentown, N.J., for $2,425,500. Built in 1991, it has four bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 4,798 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,575,000 in 2012.

Hartsdale
Michael and Elsa Hanna, of Bradenton, sold their home at 1804 Morris St. to Jon Lee, of Sarasota, for $772,300. Built in 2003, it has four bedrooms, four baths, one half-bath, a pool and 3,432 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,162,500 in 2005.

Bay Plaza
Erol Argun, of Sarasota, sold his Unit 9G condominium at 1255 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Thyrza Jacocks, of Sarasota, for $715,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,629 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $199,500 in 1986.

Harbor Acres
U.S. Bank National Association, trustee, sold the home at 1365 Harbor Drive to Meirion Jones and Candice Steckler, of Sarasota, for $631,500. Built in 1961, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,863 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.15 million in 2005.

Marion Weerasuriya, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1740 S. Orange Ave. to Kenneth and Lauren Doyle, of Sarasota, for $525,000. Built in 1967, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,024 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $362,500 in 2003.

Melody Murray, trustee, of Ellisville, Mo., sold the home at 1824 Oak St. to John and Janice Shelton, of Sarasota, for $575,000. Built in 1930, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,252 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $152,500 in 1998.

John and Lori Mishos, of Gaithersburg, Md., sold their home at 2516 S. Osprey Ave. to Barbara Fleener, of Sarasota, for $542,000. Built in 1949, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,437 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $240,000 in 2002.

Condominium on the Bay
Holiveen Cooper, of Taylorsville, N.C., sold the Unit 311 condominium at 988 Blvd. of the Arts to Christopher Pellegrino, of Sarasota, for $409,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $360,000 in 2003.

A. Jon Nannos and Catherine Popovitch-Nannos sold their Unit 705 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to Gail Jerome, of Sarasota, for $317,900. Built in 2007, it has one bedroom, one bath, one half-bath and 1,070 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $305,000 in 2007.

Gordon MacPhail and Gail MacPhail, trustees, of Bradenton, sold the home at 5569 Siesta Estates Court to Robert and Joan Miller, of Sarasota, for $745,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,406 square feet of living area.
