+ Keating creates ‘Million Dollar Match’ for Sarasota Museum of Art
Longboat Key philanthropist Elaine Keating has pledged $1 million to match new contributions to help complete Sarasota Museum of Art (SMOA).

Keating will match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $1 million in her “Million Dollar Match” program.
The joint SMOA and Ringling College of Art & Design effort seeks to transform the former Sarasota High School building into 60,000 square feet of exhibition space, a 110-seat auditorium, sculpture courtyard, indoor/outdoor café, classrooms and studios.

As of Jan. 23, SMOA had raised more than $17.3 million of $22 million needed.
