Henry Patrick Kriby was born to Tom and Jessica Kriby, of Lakewood Ranch, at 2:31 p.m. Jan. 7, at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. He weighed 8.15 pounds and was 21 inches long. Proud big brother is William.
Ridge Charles Maltby
Ridge Charles Maltby was born to Charles and Amber Maltby, of Greenfield Plantation, at 12:10 p.m. Jan. 3, at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. Ridge weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 inches long. Proud big brother is Collin.
ANNIVERSARY
Lou & Patti Brodersen
Lou and Patti Brodersen, of Stoneybrook at Heritage Harbour, are about to celebrate their golden jubilee.
The couple will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 1. The Brodersens married in 1964, in Fairfield, Conn.
Lou Brodersen retired after a 33-year career as a newspaper sports journalist, and he is a past chairman of the Associated Press Sports Editors in the Northeast.
Patti Brodersen retired after a 30-year career in public relations and medical fields; her last position was as the director of volunteers at the St. Vincent’s Medical Center, in Bridgeport, Conn.
The couple moved in 1996 to Florida.
Lou Brodersen is also a founder of the Manatee County Cal Ripken League and the Stoneybrook Men’s Golf Association.
Patti Brodersen led volunteer programs for the Humane Society in Broward and Manatee counties.
The couple has two sons — Jeff, of Glastonbury, Conn., with wife, Susan; and Rob, of Palm Harbor, with wife, Tina — and four grandchildren.
