Suspect sought in Siesta burglaries

Surveillance cameras have captured footage of a man suspected of burglarizing condominiums on the south end of Siesta Key.

On Friday, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office released images of a man wearing sunglasses, a white hat and black sandals. The sheriff's office has asked the public for help identifying him. Deputies believe the suspect took jewelry and cash from several Siesta condos in crimes that occurred during the day and early evening, according to a Sheriff's Office news release.
