Obituary: William Heindle

William Heindle, 76, of Manasquan, N.J., died June 24.

Born in South Amboy, N.J., Mr. Heindle enjoyed working with his father on the family farm in York County, Pa. He served six years in the U.S. Army Reserves and later worked 36 years for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1992 as postmaster of Parlin, N.J.

Mr. Heindle spent the winter months on Longboat Key.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, who died May 6.
