Weekend Best Bet: Fourth of July Fireworks

Celebrate the Fourth of July with an evening full of fireworks at Siesta Key Beach or over Sarasota Bay Friday, July 4. 

The Siesta Key fireworks display will take place on Siesta Key Beach. Held every year by the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce, the fireworks are a great way to end a day spent on the beach.

Those interested in watching the downtown fireworks can expect the show to begin at dusk or around 9 p.m. The fireworks can be viewed anywhere downtown including Bayfront Park and Island Park.

Both displays are free and open to the public.
