East County resident and local attorney Patricia Petruff, a senior partner of the Dye, Deitrich, Petruff & St. Paul law firm in Bradenton, has been awarded the 2014 William C. Grimes Award for Lifetime Achievement in Community Service.

Petruff received her award last month, during the Manatee Bar Association luncheon.

Petruff, who has practiced law in Manatee County for more than 35 years, has provided pro bono legal work for local nonprofits, among other contributions.
