Construction begins on third largest home in Manatee

LAKEWOOD RANCH — London Bay Homes has begun construction of a 16,000-square-foot home built on three estate homesites in The Lake Club, a private luxury community in Lakewood Ranch.

The two-level home, once finished, will include six bedrooms, eight full baths and two half baths, a two-level office/library, a music room, an exercise room with steam spa, a caterer’s kitchen and a second-level home theater.

According to Manatee County property records, the home is owned by Kawaljit Singh.

It also will have an adjoining two-lane 75-foot indoor lap pool, outdoor pool, tennis court, three two-car garages and an enclosed half basketball court, brining total square footage to more than 28,000.

London Bay recently set trusses and poured concreted in the center portion of the home, which is slated for completion in 2015.

Manatee County property records indicate the home will be the third-largest in Manatee, following a home in The Concession (17,756 square feet of living space and 30,534 square feet under roof) and another in Bradenton (21,423 square feet of living space and 30,537 square feet under roof).
