May 19
Cabinet Caper
3:16 p.m. — 6700 block of 71st Street E. Theft of $300 to $5,000 From a Building. The reporting party stated he was filing the report on behalf of a bank for insurance purposes only. It is alleged there are missing or damaged kitchen cabinets and vents, and that the damage occurred on or around Jan. 15. There are no special serial numbers, makes or value for the missing/damaged property and no expressed value of loss.

Car Crasher
4:37 p.m. — 2900 block of 53rd Avenue E. Criminal Mischief/Felony of $1,000 or More. The complainant reported her mother’s car had been damaged by unknown subject(s).

Up in Arms
11:23 — 8000 Stone Harbour Loop. $200 to $1,000 Criminal Mischief Property Damage. Two unknown persons walked up to the security gates located at the Stoneybrook subdivision gatehouse. They lifted the gate arm, causing it to break. The subjects lifted the gate to allow a truck and a car to enter the subdivision. Security cameras captured the incident on tape.
Purse Pursuer
12:27 p.m. — 8300 block of Lockwood Ridge Road. Petit/Grand Theft. The victim reported she left her purse on a cart outside the parking lot of a store and drove off. The victim realized that she had left her purse, so she returned but could not locate it. The victim checked with the store, but no one had turned it in.
Light Packer
12:58 p.m. — 3300 block of 53rd Avenue E. Petit/Grand Theft — Shoplifting. The reporting party stated the suspect entered the store and requested two cartons of Newport cigarettes. She turned to pick up another item requested, and the suspect darted out of the store with the items for which he did not pay. A DVD recording of the incident was provided and placed into property and evidence.
