Although they might not like to admit it, even the most rugged of men think about skin care. Common concerns include razor bumps, dry skin, large pores and the daily task of keeping their skin smooth and hydrated. Most men show their age from the nose up, and the daily task of shaving actually works as an exfoliating line smoother on the jawline and chin. But lines on the forehead and crow's feet are all too familiar when you live in sunny Florida.

Here are my minute-by-minute plays of the day for men's skin health:

  1. Detox and purify with a gel cleanser, as opposed to a milk cleanser.
  2. Unclog large pores with witch hazel on a cotton pad.
  3. Hydrate with marine algae moisturizer — seaweed works wonders

Why does Dad need a facial?

It's a wonderful time to decompress and relax with a gentle cleaning of the skin, forehead and neck. Once the man in your life is feeling comfortable, we will gently massage all the facial muscles and brush on a light, hydrating, vitamin-enriched mask, which is later steamed off with a hot eucalyptus towel.

Now that Dad is refreshed and recharged, he'll be ready to return to the couch, remote in hand, looking 10 years younger and ready for a perfect finish to Father's Day
