Orioles to play first home game Friday

The Orioles Gulf Coast League team will play its first home game of the 2014 season at 12 p.m. June 20, at Ed Smith Stadium, against the GCL Rays.

The GCL includes 14 teams in Florida and gives recently drafted or signed players their first experience in professional baseball.

The Orioles will play 30 home games between June 20 and Aug. 28. All games are free and open to the public. Parking, located in the east lot on the corner of 12th Street and Tuttle Avenue, also is free.
