Darwin's brews rise to the top at Tampa Bay Beer Week

Darwin’s on 4th and Darwin Brewing Company did Sarasota proud at the Tampa Bay Beer week, earning a silver medal with its Charapa porter in the porter category of Best Florida Beers.

According to chef and owner, Darwin Santa Maria, the 7% ABV beer is especially representative of the establishment, because it incorporates flavors from both Florida and his native Peru, including aji charapitas, annatto, orange blossom honey and Amazon cacao. The beer was developed by the Darwin Brewing Company team, led by Brewmaster Jorge Rosabal.
